For Your Business – Organisational Clients
We measure success on whether our customers achieve the goals they set at the start of their program. This may be landing the job of their dreams, defining and starting down a new career path, launching a business, or transitioning to retirement.
Our established monitoring and evaluation process includes scheduled contact points throughout a customer’s program including after commencement, mid, and end of program surveys. 96% of participants would recommend our programs to others.
At Trevor-Roberts, we engage only the very best consultants who share our core values around Relationships, Results, Integrity, and Generosity. Please see Our People for more information about our team members and consultants throughout Australia and New Zealand.
We keep you informed by regular communication, including confirmation of program start dates and monthly progress reports. While we protect the confidentiality of our program participants, we do provide details of who is on the program and their progress through the different stages. We can also provide customised reports as needed.
Over the past 25+ years, we have worked with hundreds of organisational clients including global companies with thousands of employees, all levels of government, SMEs, and both large and small not-for profits.
We work across all industries and geographic locations in Australia and New Zealand. Through our membership of the Global Outplacement Alliance we are proud to offer our services in major locations throughout the world.
What is common across all our clients is the care they have for their people. They understand that supporting their employees impacts positively on company performance and culture, and also is the right thing to do. See our Testimonials for feedback from some of our clients and customers.
Please call us on 1300 876 118 or email us on clientservices@trevor-roberts.com.au and we will send you a proposal outlining our range of programs. We will also outline how we get people started on our programs, plus provide documents to include in your employee information packs.
We frequently receive feedback from our clients that we are very easy to work with, and extremely responsive.
We can arrange for one or more career coaches to be at your location to support employees immediately after their announcement/notification meeting. We can help them with any immediate concerns, such as how to communicate the news to others, plus explain the support program available to them. Some people have described our support as “the light at the end of the tunnel”.
We can also provide support to managers and the HR team delivering the news.
Our approach to Career Transition is transformational in nature. We believe that Career Transitions should go beyond just the transactional components of resumé and interview skills. While these are obviously important, we see a career transition as part of a person’s whole working life. Career Transition Programs identify preferred career directions, how to build and establish strong networks and identify what skills (both technical and leadership) need to be developed, creating resilience for the future.
Our programs include a number of career coaching hours with a dedicated career coach, usually face to face, plus access to a wide range of supplementary resources including live webinars, videos, tools and assessments, templates and in-depth information about all aspects of career transition.
We allow participants up to 12 months to complete their program. Most participants, however, achieve an outcome in a shorter period of time.
Everyone has different needs, and our programs are highly flexible so we can meet their needs.
Our standard range of programs, from operational level through to senior manager level, include a fixed number of career coaching hours depending on the level. Our executive programs are open-ended, meaning we work with people as long as they need to reach their desired outcome.
Many organisations specify a time limit, e.g. 3 or 6 months, for a program to be accessed. Please note that we don’t invoice until a program commences.
We have created a range of program levels based on our 25+ years of experience on what support is needed to give people the best chance of achieving a successful outcome. We offer multiple program levels from operational (front-line) through to executive. Additional factors, such as length of time with the organisation, should also be considered. The decision on program level is yours, and we will provide the best possible service whatever level is selected. Please call us on 1300 876 118 if you would like to talk through the program levels.
The cost will vary, depending on the program(s) you have chosen. For a list of program levels and fees, please contact us on 1300 876 118 or at clientservices@trevor-roberts.com.au.
For You – Individual Customers
Over the past 25+ years, we have helped thousands of people transform their careers. The overwhelming feedback we receive is that by helping our customers to transform their careers, we are also empowering them to transform their lives. Individuals who complete our programs come away with a direction for the future and a roadmap to get there, and the skills and knowledge to develop their careers not just for now, but for the future as well.
We measure success on whether our customers achieve the goals they set at the start of their program. This may be landing the job of their dreams, defining and starting down a new career path, launching a business, or transitioning to retirement.
During our 25+years of experience, we have worked with thousands of individuals from all walks of life, across all industry sectors and positions.
Having said this, we acknowledge that every person’s situation is unique we therefore offer a huge amount of flexibility in our programs to cater to your needs in terms of timing and the topics that are covered. We pride ourselves on our wide range of career coaches, which enables us to choose a coach for you to work with who is a good fit for you and your specific needs.
Your program will start with a phone conversation with us or an initial meeting. During this conversation, we will explain what support we will provide, answer any questions you might have, match you with a career coach and book you in for your first face-to-face session. Once you have attended your first session, we will follow up with a call to ensure you are comfortable with your coach and your plan moving forward.
During the course of your program you and your career coach will meet regularly to keep you on-track to meet your desired outcome. In between these meetings, you can access our extensive resources and undertake “homework” to debrief at the next session.
Your coach remains available to you, as long as you have hours remaining in your program, for support via face to face meetings, phone, and/or email.
The pace of your program is up to you, however, you have 12 months from your first session to use your program hours. In special circumstances, we are able to extend this time limit, or place your program on hold for a period of time.
All we ask is that you are open to the process. The more effort you invest into your program—and, indeed, yourself—the more you will get out of it. What you can expect from us in return is support as we help you along every step of the way.
For most people, the costs associated with our programs are fully covered by their employer.
We understand that, at times, it may be difficult to physically come in to one of our offices. Wherever possible, we recommend you meet your career coach in person at a Trevor-Roberts office for your first meeting as this will enable you to build a rapport with your coach and have your questions answered in a confidential environment. If you prefer, your remaining sessions can be facilitated by phone, email and Skype (online video/phone chat).
Our Career Transition programs help individuals to transition to the next stage of their career. Simply put, we help you to work out what you want to do next, and how to get there. At this time in your life, you might want a similar role to the one you are leaving, or you might want a complete career change. You may be considering self-employment, return to study, a portfolio career or transition to retirement. We can help you to get clarity on your career direction.
The next step part of the program is how to get you there. This can include but is not limited to:
- Creating or updating your marketing tools including resume, cover letters and social media (e.g. LinkedIn) profiles
- Preparation and practice with interviews
- Building your professional network and your personal brand
- Helping you overcome potential obstacles along the way
At Trevor-Roberts, integrity is one of our core values and we respect your privacy and confidentiality. Everything you say stays between you and your career coach. General progress updates are provided to your previous employer, but without going into specifics.
