We believe that leading a fulfilling life
involves doing meaningful work
We see a world where work enriches lives, people feel connected and aligned to their organisation, and know that they are contributing to something greater than themselves. We work with CEOs, Managers and their teams from ASX100 companies through to SMEs, providing a range of specialised career, leadership and team-oriented services from our team of experts across Australia.

National Focus on Transitions
Dr Edwin Trevor-Roberts took over the sole running of the company in 2007 and has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the business. It is now a national operation with career support services for clients across 5 key sectors: Health & community services, Engineering, Manufacturing, Government, and Professional services. Our company has expanded beyond handling outplacement and redundancies as a result of the feedback received from those engaged on the career transition programs. The clarity that participants get from their program around who they were and what they could offer was offset by disappointment that they had to lose their job to gain that understanding.
What Makes Us Different?
At Trevor-Roberts, a privately owned Australian company, our unfair advantage revolves around beliefs. We believe that each person has a career story, in fact, a great career story. We work with people to uncover their unique story and also to craft a compelling narrative for leveraging their strengths. Our belief in the importance of each individual’s career story is combined with specific solutions to support and guide them through the key inflection points in their career because that’s when they need it most. It’s not about pushing large volumes of people through our programs; it’s about boosting confidence and providing certainty for the future for every individual. Our Values

How Trevor-Roberts began
“People would come into the office despondent and then weeks or months later they would walk out with the biggest smile on their face. I thought there is something magical in what we do.”
Trevor-Roberts was started by Brian Trevor-Roberts, a pioneer of the outplacement industry, in 1994. Our business initially focused on providing counselling and outplacement services. This was at a time when redundancies weren’t talked about and people going through the process felt a sense of shame and loss of confidence.
When our current CEO, Dr Edwin Trevor-Roberts, began working in the business in the late 1990s, outplacement was still the primary focus.
Edwin was drawn to offer a more diverse range of services after seeing the dramatic transformations around him.
Beyond Outplacement
“We see a world where work enriches lives, people feel connected and aligned to their organisation, and know they are contributing to something greater than themselves.”
Edwin’s mission was to build a sustainable business able to motivate and inspire people throughout an organisation to increase motivation and engagement, not just support those leaving.
While the products we offer have changed dramatically since our beginnings, our personalised and passionate approach towards guiding people through their career lifecycle has not.
All our services involve listening to each person’s story, giving them a sense of what they can do to move forward, combined with practical strategies they can action themselves.
Many of our clients, particularly those in health & community services industries, have been with us for over a decade. They know that we will respond fast, truthfully and will provide the support they need while maintaining a sensitive and respectful approach during periods of high stress.
Offering Better Support for Clients
